Tuning-CALOHEE Publication prepared on Micro-credentials
Not being quite satisfied with existing documents on micro-credentials, the project has prepared its own paper and guidelines, which we believe will significantly help higher education institutions and their staff in designing, implementing, and delivering high-quality units. These units cater to both lifelong learners and regular students. The paper offers detail on context, educational concepts, types, levels, learning outcomes, and student workload. It also offers a more sophisticated and comprehensive definition of a micro-credential than those previously defined. Additionally, the guidelines include 13 decision and implementation steps for strating a micro-credential.
